Air-Fryer Cheesy Kale Crisps (Vegan, Keto, Gluten-Free)
Ingredients
6 cup slightly packed, kale curly leaves, stems removed, chopped into large pieces, see shopping tips below
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast, see shopping tips
A little garlic powder, kosher or sea salt and black pepper, to taste
Olive oil spray or your favorite cooking spray
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 390 degrees.
In a large bowl, toss together kale and olive oil. Sprinkle in nutritional yeast and a little garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat.
Spray the inside of air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Place the kale in fry basket and insert into air fryer. Cook until the kale is crisp, about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
Transfer kale chips to a bowl. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container. If they soften, re-crisp in the oven on a baking sheet for a few minutes.
