Air-Fryer Cheesy Kale Crisps (Vegan, Keto, Gluten-Free)

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cup slightly packed, kale curly leaves, stems removed, chopped into large pieces, see shopping tips below
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast, see shopping tips
  • A little garlic powder, kosher or sea salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil spray or your favorite cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Preheat air fryer to 390 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, toss together kale and olive oil. Sprinkle in nutritional yeast and a little garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat.
  • Spray the inside of air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Place the kale in fry basket and insert into air fryer. Cook until the kale is crisp, about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  • Transfer kale chips to a bowl. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container. If they soften, re-crisp in the oven on a baking sheet for a few minutes.
